I called up today and spoke to Sarah. She told me my case is complete and I'm in the queue for an interview, so nothing booked yet. Really happy to get that confirmation though :)

Congratulation! Its such a mental relief to not have to think about CC but actually to have one. I pray your interview is scheduled soon, so you get to distress a little from all the NVC ordeal. I say this because ever since I got CC and interview date, I am a whole lot happier person myself, and wish the same feeling for all my VJ buddies.

My POE was supereasy and fast. Waited in the visitors line for 10mins and then a couple of minutes with the first officer and 2 minutes in the backroom Ill post a full POE review later.

Got the happy news yesterday by email: November 5 it is! It does seem like they're taking PD into account, as we've been stuck in this ####### since June 2013. Yay!

Actually, they did consider your PD. :idea: According to your timeline, you got a CC two days later than me (I got a CC on Sept 16th). However, you managed to get an interview on Nov 5th. My interview is Nov 10th. :thumbs:

Wifey's visa has been approved! Interview was barely couple of minutes. Was asked basic questions and didn't ask for any further documentations during or after the interview. :):dancing: . She was given immigrant fee form (to pay $165) before departure at the end and was told the passport would be shipped in about a week.

Her online status still shows "Ready" but was updated this morning. Some people who had the interview the same day, got either Admin Processing or Issued as the status the same day. Ours still says ready, Is this common? A bit worried.

Ahh yeah, understandable. My husband was incredibly anxious about it too but it went great, he was really relieved to find it was sort of anti-climactic. Appointment availability is good and Knightsbridge sends results along pretty quickly too. It's a busy time ahead but it'll be over soon! :)
