CC was on 9/18 and we're still waiting for interview.

This evening I keep trying to call NVC, but every time it disconnects me before ever ringing even once, has this happened to anyone else??

My ceac status was stuck on "In Transit" for 12 days. I blame handling delays at both source and destination mail rooms for this delay.

MoBar, where/how do you check CEAC status of a package? Is this something printed on the interview letter?

I was busy with the my grandchildren all day friday so I didn't get a chance to call NVC. I saw that all of my Canadian CC buddies had Interview dates of Nov 18 so figured I would too.

I called just now and indeed my interview is Nov 18th at 10am.

now I wait for the e-mail and schedule the medical.

No IL as of right now (2:30pm on the east coast) and CEAC status is still "At NVC"

I would call NVC Friday to check and see if your petition has left for embassy. It doesn't get shipped the minute you get interview. They usually bundle them and ship out on Fridays.

dwheels I don't know if it matters but my interview was actually scheduled on Friday the 3rd. The spreadsheet says the 6th, today, so I probably did it wrong.

I hope it won't take them forever to send the email.

I hope it won't take forever either. 28 days until interview and my husband has work every other week. Plus has go over an hour drive out of the city to do the medical since his main home is in Makkah when he has his days off. His work is in Taif and stays up in Taif with room mates until his day off to go back home since driving an hour each direction is tiring to just to get home. And Taif is 2 hours from Jeddah. No way he can do it on his work days with his hours and the drive. Not counting how many days it will take to get the medical done since my husband doesn't have medical record.
