Good plan! VJ meet up in Montreal! Still wish they had somewhere closer for medicals for us prairie people though.

Oh yes! It stinks for anyone not in BC, Ontario, or Quebec :( stupid rules are stupid. Not sure why Ontario has three physicians though, I'm not complaining really but it's not fair to others!

Edit: you're going to Georgia too! Fly delta with me! ;p haha. YOW to DTW to ATL has been my life these past 4 years.

Interview scheduled! November 21st. The Friday before Thanksgiving week isn't exactly the stuff dreams are made of, but I suppose I should be thankful we finally have an interview date.

This is really frustrating. I thought after CC everything moves faster but as far as I see they dont even know what they're doing. I am really curious when are they going to give the date for interview. It feels like they enjoy creating so much confusion and anxiety. Honestly, I CANT wait until I will be done with NVC! They are the worst.

That phase 1 and phase 2 scheduling was just a June -September phenomena they never have done it before and I think they are going back to the beginning of the month maybe 2nd week of the month scheduling.

I'll be flying into Savannah probably. Fort Stewart is only 30 minutes from there.

Well pooh. All the way out on the east coast! I've never been to Savannah though we have thought about taking trips over there. I want to see all of the United States once I'm there!

Thanks for the info! I will phone tomorrow (my CC was Sept 10th).

I have a question:

The medical appointment in Canada cannot be scheduled until I have an interview date (according to the receptionists at 2 different Dr's offices), but do they actually need the appointment letter to include in the sealed packet they provide? I hope to get an interview date over the phone and book the medical right away. I will probably have to wait a week to attend the medical anyway, so may have the letter in time, but I want to be prepare to argue with the receptionist to book my appointment straight away! Apologies if someone has asked this before, I've read the wiki and all of the posts in the Oct thread and I don't think I saw this anywhere.

Did you have a look at the spreadsheet by dwheels76, there's a few of us Canadians on there. Hopefully the NVC starts scheduling for us soon!Be

I believe you don't need an interview letter, all you need is the case number written on the doctor forms, that was my case my wife got her medical examination done without an interview letter. She gave the doctor/assistant the case number and that was it.

I know they prioritize the people that have interview dates next day or so...

I believe you don't need an interview letter, all you need is the case number written on the doctor forms, that was my case my wife got her medical examination done without an interview letter. She gave the doctor/assistant the case number and that was it.

I know they prioritize the people that have interview dates next day or so...
