Hi Everyone,

My husband has an interview in Nairobi on November 19. I can't believe I'm just putting this together now, but will my husband need another ORIGINAL I-864 Affidavit of Support (plus original for joint sponsor) at the interview if we already sent originals to NVC? I have been assuming that he will only have to bring photocopies since they should already have the originals, but I've seen some different information floating around and I'm hoping that's only for K1 fiance visa applicants?

Can anyone comment on this, especially if you have already interviewed?

I would love to Cathy because am pregnant and expecting in January. How I go about doing that?

Don't mean to put a damper on you but keep in mind some airlines or physicians won't allow you to fly after a certain point in your pregnancy...you might want to see if you can find any info on it while you are waiting for your papers to arrive. Best of luck!

Congratulations to all the scheduled interviews! They are on a roll! :)

Embassy will always consider PD as well to schedule an interview date.

Not always, see pjm on the spreadsheet, could be an expedite, but not that I know of. Anyway, talk here was how long NVC is taking to ship out the file to the consulate once interview has been scheduled.

We leave for our interview in Montreal on Sunday, wow that came fast! Today was my last day at work before our trip, and we are putting our house up for sale the day we get back so life has been a whirlwind!

Combined air miles with credit card points to get 2 round trip flights to montreal for only $12, was super happy about that! The hotel we are staying in has a pool and hot tub, we are there for 5 days for the medical and then interview so I will definitely be making use of those.

Like the poster from Winnipeg, I didn't get the RCMP police certificate only the Winnipeg one with National Criminal Records search box checked off so hopefully that will be enough, if it is not there is no time to do anything else at this point. I have not gotten any extra checklists or requests for info from the consulate so I am really hoping we will be okay.

Like the poster from Alberta, we will be doing our medical and interview all on the same trip, medisys told me they need 3 business days to process results, I gave them 4 just to be safe. I'm grateful that our interview fell on a Friday so we don't have to stay for the weekend when no processing is being done anyway.

Tonight I have to finish packing our bags and getting the final touches put on the immigration binder, tomorrow a trip to the spa for a couples massage, the perfect way to unwind from all this stress before the interview so we can be relaxed and natural. SO excited to move on to the next part of our lives already!
