Hiya!

Also got my interview date today, Dec 22nd! CC Oct 14th. WTH?! I almost fell off my chair at work and died when my husband told me.

I know thats a bit of a dramatic response but jeez. 10weeks between CC and interview. Yours is even longer.

I am certainly going to try and get an earlier date. You should too.

Matter of fact I have already drafted an email request ready to go once I get all the info on the process.

I've read that you call the help line and then they give you a code and email address to make the request.

Any knowldege about this?

Also do we have to wait for the NVC to send the docs to the embass first?

Did your husband call or did he receive an email with the date? Waiting on mine but haven't the energy to be on hold lol.

Interview scheduled! November 21st. The Friday before Thanksgiving week isn't exactly the stuff dreams are made of, but I suppose I should be thankful we finally have an interview date.

I don't think so. I know some people have put the request in with london before the case arrives and got notification of an earlier date a short while after it arrived. Worth a shot. Congrats xxx

That's some serious bullshit. Hopefully they move it up!

Yup. I haven't gotten the confirmation email yet. I'll believe when I see it.

Somewhere in the back of my mind I am praying my husband heard wrong....hahaha(the things NVC does to one's mental health)

I will be stalking to ceac website and once my docs arrive at the embassy I will be contacting them.

I have just finished a 12hr on call shift at the hospital and here I am still awake and worrying about all this. ugghh!

Exciting news! Interview was scheduled yesterday on 10/29 for December 10th (Montreal)

I previously mentioned I was going to wait and call Friday, but I got so antsy and decided to call just now after reading others got interviews scheduled.

Canadians - I would call now if you can!

CC: 10/21

WOW. Canada is much faster at scheduling this month! I had cc sept 10th (when they were still scheduling October interviews!), they didn't assign an interview date for October so I had to wait until the nov round, which started Oct 1. Then they didn't schedule for Canada until after almost all other countries seemed to have their interview dates, it was a couple days later, finally on Oct 3. My interview is Nov 3 (Monday!!). Overall the time from cc to interview is similar for both your case and mine but that waiting nearly a month to find out was tough to endure! You had only 8 days of waiting - that is awesome! Congrats and good luck!!
