Have anyone received a letter from nvc saying that you should update them if you have changed your address or email? My husband received one today and he is the petitioner. We have not changed our address so am just curious.

Interview scheduled! November 21st. The Friday before Thanksgiving week isn't exactly the stuff dreams are made of, but I suppose I should be thankful we finally have an interview date.

Congrats! You'll get to be with your wife 3 weeks earlier :) I am glad they're not all heartless robots. Good luck for the interview!

Congrats! Finally some good news and things happening "faster" than expected for you!

I am not sure if you saw my post but it turns out in Canada they won't move interviews earlier unless it is for extreme health or humanitarian reasons :( Oh well, my interview is a week from Monday anyway now!! :) :) Good luck to you and your wife on Friday!

I've been super busy as well as flying back and forth across the pond and have missed a few pages on the thread. I'm sorry to hear Montreal isn't able to generally move interviews up. I suspect they are one of the busiest embassies for visa interviews? I'm sure London is very busy as well and I'm very thankful their consular section was able to assist us!

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.

@stackeria My hubby lives near Birmingham. In the end we decided to pay the $30 fee as well. I'm guessing that they will have to have a signature upon delivery. So excited this is all happening so soon. The Embassy is so much better to work with vs NVC. Cheers!

hi cc date was on 09/03/14 and as of yet no interview date! I have called several times and they told me no open slot available for now so I should hear something first week of Nov. For interview date in December. Do you guys think the interview will likely be in the first week of December? :(

You have 9/3 here but 10/3 on your timeline. It must be 10/3 as far as when in December that no one can even guess since we have no idea who else is out there for your embassy ahead of you. You would be amazed how many.

Have been really busy and traveling back and forth so haven't had time to post my normal rants on here recently... :)

Just wanted to update the thread that the USEM in London has rescheduled my wife's interview to Halloween. This is really helpful. It feels great to finally be dealing with real people who have actual beating hearts.

I haven't looked at anything regarding the courier options and payments or ELIS. I guess that's next on the list of things to figure out...

Hi,

I got a CC on Oct 17, and my status says "Ready." NVC says that my case was sent to the Kyiv Embassy and the embassy will be scheduling my interview, because I have an expedite. Does anybody know when approximately the embassy is going to schedule my interview? I called them, and they said that I need to wait for some kind of email... What is this email and who is it from? It has been over a week since my CC and I heard nothing from anyone. No CC email, no interview email? When do any of them come? Like everyone on this thread, I am very tired of waiting and silence...

Expedites are specific to the embassy. You have to deal with the embassy now. They have your case so I would assume soon you will get notification. Have you already done the medical have all that out the way? So if they schedule fast you are ready right?

Yes they sent me one as well for no apparent reason. Others have gotten it too, just call the NVC and confirm that they have the correct address/email on hand and you're good to go.

Well from what i saw on the pages on this thread- people who got CC in September (15- 30 sept)got their interviews assigned between 30 sept - 6th october for the month of november. Their papers are in transit now..some have reached and some are getting there.

SO by that same rationale --- i think all CCs between 14 oct - 30 Oct will have our interviews assigned between 30 oct - 10 Nov for the month of December. and so i would assume that our paperwork will move out of NVC somewhere in the month of November (6-25 Nov). Till then we ALL have our paperwork at NVC even though we have CC's. :content::jest:. Which means we will NOT be leaving the "twilight zone" until middle november :alien: .

Hi.. Hope somebody from Canada can answer my question. I was wondering if the US consulate in Montreal is the only place where immigrant visa interviews are being conducted? Or do they also do it in other embassies such as the one in Alberta? Also how early should you do your medical exam prior to the interview? Thanks!

Oh no don't worry. I believe the only certificate they ask you to renew is the police certificate. That too, if it has been over a year.
