Hello,

I have a question. Today I received an email from Warsaw embassy, asking me to fill out the DS-260 before coming to the interview. Obviously I've already filled it out during the NVC process.

Has anyone else received such a request before? Since nothing has changed, do I just open the form and resubmit it?

Here is part of that email:

2. Submit form DS-260

The DS-260, Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application, is a fully integrated online electronic visa application form used to collect the necessary application information from persons seeking an immigrant visa.

The DS-260 must be completed and submitted online through the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC). To log-in to CEAC, you will need the following numbers:

· Your NVC case number

· Your NVC invoice ID number

· Your Beneficiary ID number

These numbers are noted on the letter or e-mail you received from the NVC.

To begin your own DS-260, click CEAC and follow the instructions displayed.

Please do not reply to this email. Messages to this address will not be answered. You can check the status of your visa case by providing your case number at https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC/. Most general information about immigrant visas is available at www.ustraveldocs.com/pl. If you have an inquiry specific to your case, you may send an email by clicking here .

Welcome to the thread….as per the wiki on first page most interviews are arranged at the end of the month for the subsequent month…so i am assuming we will all get interview dates between 30Oct - 7nov, for somewhere in the month of december….

and congratulations... :dancing:

Guys I got cc on October 21, does anyone know how long before I get an interview date? Just curious and want to be in the know.

Oh don't be scared or nervous about that. I am sure you have a case complete. Your AOS fees went from PAIN to N/A right. Also you called up and confirmed it. You are in with us. LOL!!

I know of some cases where after the case complete they never got the email and directly got an interview date. Also you got a case complete on Oct 20----- so i would definitely wait till the 27 Oct to get that email.

And thanks :goofy: same to you….. :dancing:

Congratulations!!!

Now I feel scared from your post. I got cc on Oct 20 but have not received anything yet. I wanna trust the operator on the phone but yes they are NVC!! It's not always 100% true.. :(

I do hope to receive an confirmation email soon!

Many of the embassies have not updated their boilerplate letters or websites since NVC started handling all the data! Australia's is woefully out of date. If you have completed the DS-260, then you are fine. Take a copy of what you submitted to your interview just in case.

If you are nervous, call NVC and confirm that your DS-260 is part of your package sent to Warsaw.

Hello Suki,

Wow Hong Kong for a week…its will be great….have a great time.

I had a question ---- how much time did it take for your partner to get her PR card (Green Card) mailed after the POE?

Dwheels, you're a doll. I'm the USC, by the way. My partner, Julie, is doing well here, but we are taking a trip back to Australia as she has a BIG birthday this year, and she has a twin! And the twin is celebrating her 40th wedding anniversary on their BIG birthday. So we are all going to celebrate in Hong Kong for a week!

Thanks Sukie. I hope it's just an old boilerplate letter like you say. I thought that maybe they wanted me to bring the DS-260 up to date in case something changed since it was submitted (nothing changed), but the DS-260 is not editable once submitted.

I'll bring a printout to the interview for sure, but no way I am ever calling NVC again :)
