Now this is a situation that does warrant you speak up at interview. First have you called NVC to see if it can be changed now? If its too late just bring it up before you take the oath. I believe they ask is everything true and you can say I misunderstood the question about the refusal (of course they know but you need to let them know you aren't hiding this). I have sen denials because people thought the immigration is dumb I guess and didn't keep track. So just be sure you bring it up before they say "we see you lied o on your application". Yes they can be that blunt. Don't be scared honestly always win out.

Yes i had called the NVC as soon as i realized i made this mistake, they told me to give a letter explaining the mistake and tell the CO before the interview...I am going to do that, should i also send an email explaining the mistake to the embassy once they receive the case?

I didnt mean to hide anything it was stupid mistake, i hope i dont have bear any consequences because of it....

Hi all,

Commenting on the interview thread for the first time. CC Oct 14th, still waiting for interview date at the consulate in london.

Such a long wait! jeez, people with case completes early on in the month have to wait till the end of the month and even into the next month to get a date.

Called today and still no date scheduled...bummer :clock:

Congratulations. Welcome to the group. I have added you to the spreadsheet.

You have to wait because there is a certain window if scheduling. Usually for like a busy place like UK it takes about 3 to 4 days and they are done scheduling. So those left in queue and those getting CC after have to wait for the next months go around. But it should be any day am predicting they start either tomorrow or Thursday.

hi dwheels76,

I have a question. I made a small mistake in ds-260. I answered Yes in question == Is your spouse immigrating to the U.S. with you?

But it should be No.

What should i do for that ?

Thank you.

Hope everyone else waiting gets some good news this week as well.

Cannot wait to be done. Guess I should not complain as there are so many people still waiting for CC.

Like everyone else I check my emails like crazy.

Will keep everyone posted if I hear anything in the next day or two.

Have you called NVC to correct?

If its too late just tell CO at interview. No big thing.

I have 2 cases one completed and the other got a checklist for using for I-864 instead of I-864W. We have to wait for another 60days. We are however preparing for the interview and would like to know if the interview letter will be an email are a physical mail?

Can we just print the email notification for the interview or it will have to be the one sent through snail mail ?

Interview letter comes like everything else NVC has been sending you via email. When you get email you print off the letter (comes in a nice PDF) and you use that for the interview. Look at the Nigerian portal for embassy info. I updated. You will see doctors to go to and the new requirement of 5 passport pics and new medical fees.

Your situation isn't that big a deal and wouldn't warrant AP. It's a simple thing they can see the spouse is not an immigrant its missed alot.

That question is for people using the DS-260 for other forms of Visas like a H1B.

Nothing to be worried about.

Congratulations. That's awesome.

DHL isn't for Visa tracking you need to go to https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/and track your Visa status.

The DHL we post here is tracking the petitions/casefiles to embassy only.

My Ceac says issued but my embassy sends to dhl so I thought what you posted was for that and I signed up lol

I guess every country does it different. Thanks for clarifying.
