Don't worry! When I read the fine print on that guide for how to reschedule an appointment in Montreal, it said that your current interview appointment will not appear on their site. I am not sure why. It is very discomforting. BUT, mine also says "You currently have no appointment scheduled". If you show up at the Consulate's door on your intervie date with letter in hand, I am sure there is no way you would let them turn you away ;)

P.S. Mine says ready as of today too!!!! Yippeee

Great! It doesn't look like we can reschedule our interview dates since the system didn't give me that option. :no:

It probably means that all immigrant visa interview appointments at the Montreal Consulate are booked, unfortunately. :wacko:

Interview scheduled! November 21st. The Friday before Thanksgiving week isn't exactly the stuff dreams are made of, but I suppose I should be thankful we finally have an interview date.

I had my medical today. Thankfully I was exempt from every vaccine except for influenza, so I had that and it barely felt like anything. I win the strongest arm contest :D

I didn't like the whole nakedness part at all so I'm glad this medical was a one-off.

LOL yes Austin I'm quite sure! I wasn't technically 100% naked, but there was a part where I had my top half totally exposed for the doctor to listen to my chest, then she had me pull my trousers and underpants down all the way so she could look at my you-know-what!

Are you sure YOU took the US immigration medical exam? :P

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

 

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

 

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

No nakedness at the doctor's office. For the chest xray I had to change into a hospital gown only on the top half, still had jeans on though. Definitely no dropped drawers!

It shows my name, passport number, date of birth, visa class, reference number, and PD. :thumbs:

However, at "Appointment Information", it shows "You currently have no appointment scheduled". :wacko:

Schedule Appointment" and a green "continue" button.

you must click on the green button and enter your information . " Do not continue with this process if you have not received a Consular appointment letter from the National Visa Center (NVC), Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) or the Consular Section.

Enter the Consular location and exact date from the appointment letter you received from the NVC, KCC, or the Consular Section.

You are not scheduling an appointment, you are only registering your appointment information from the received appointment letter.

The Consular Section will not process applicants who enter false or different information than what is on your appointment letter."

with this you confirm your appointment !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And maybe be able to change the date and time after you confirmed your original appointment!

If you dont confirm your appointment on the website you can be denied at the consulate/embassy eventho you have the appointment letter from NVC !!!!!

I'm uncomfortable about that sort of thing too, but although it's a little awkward, I didn't feel humiliated or anything.

Hmm. Perhaps the British have record STI levels or something :P

Having said that, I know some other countries perform much more invasive exams. I'm pretty sure there is a country that does the full gyno thing. I wouldn't have stood for that sort of nonsense.

You have to have a blood test to detect HIV or syphilis so I'm not sure if the doctor can identify any STD (except genital herpes) by looking at your genital part. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
