Thanks! :star: 1002608876 may be the one!

According to the DHL site, this package left NVC yesterday and arrived in Montreal today.

My "Current Processing Site" has just changed from "NVC" to "Montreal" (but it still shows "In Transit" on Visa Status Check).

I hope it changes to "Ready" next Monday. :dancing: Fingers crossed!

Have been tracking a shipment that was picked up Oct 14 which was when i discovered my case was in transit. It was delivered and signed for at the embassy on Friday. Hopefully my package is included and it will change to "Ready" next Monday. Fingers crossed.

Is the visa status check found on the country's website page or is there a special place to check that? Cheers!

Hubby did medical yesterday, OMG (they gave hm 6 shot and he was messed up after they were done so much so, he could not even talk to me last night). Poor baby! Love do comes with pain, babe! These were my word of comfort...lol I am horrible! But I promise to make it all up to him/

I got the missing shots from my local physician this week (since that's way cheaper here) and she gave me a combo shot for tetanus, diphtheria, polio and pertussis. My arms still hurts 4 days later :lol:

Is the visa status check found on the country's website page or is there a special place to check that? Cheers!

For the visa status check, just go to the CEAC website, click on the 4th IV link "Check My Visa Application Status" and enter your case number. To see where your current processing site is, log in with your case and invoice nubmer on CEAC using the 1st link (for DS-261) and look what it says in the upper right corner. I hope this answered your question? :)

Just when I thought everything was going on, BOOM, back on the wait again, NVC reps are really confusing, when I called about my CC, they said: "Yeah, your case is in line for an interview", I was expecting a november interview, as the days passed and everybody got the interview date, I called and they said: "Your case is in hold, because your petitioner has another family case that needs to catch up in order to schedule an interview", and I was WHAAT!? (I didn't knew about this) but, how long?, then the rep said: "Don't worry only 60 days from sept 18th, then you go on your own".

Here we go again, back on the bench. :clock:

Someone has experienced a case like this?

Do you have another case filed with this a IR1 or another IR2? Because they normally of course keep them together since most people want to sty together and get interview together.

I have a friend now because they took so long to process their daughters cases they were through NVC and waiting for Case Complete before the daughters cases were even NOA2 at the service center. But they wouldn't give them a case complete until they ask.

So I told them to call NVC and ask that the cases be separated. They did and followed up with a written request(Email). No they are waiting the 60 days to get their case complete.

So if you have multiple petitions by petitioner and don't wan them married up you have to request they be separated.

After the drama with NVC, I thought the chaos is over. I got my case completion by calling them. The rep gave the good news which we all are waiting for. He said that your case is completed. So I asked,"are you sure" cos I had some doubts of my own. He asure me that our case was done without any problems. Me and my husband were thrilled. Two days after, I got a checklist email from NVC, asking my husband to bring his police certificate. And asking me to arrange co sponsor for my husband. So called NVC, they were saying that my income is below poverty limits for 4 member of the family. But I have only 3 including my husband. I made 25050 last year which is above the guidelines. I am making way above the limits. I have submitted my employers letter which mention my income is 32000. So I don't know why they are asking me for cosponsor. Now they are say that in their system my family size is 4. Pls help, how can I fix this so my husband can have a smooth interview. They are also asking him to bring police certificate. But I have already submitted all the require documents to NVC.

I am so lost and stressed out, can't even concentrate on my work .... Pls help

I could schedule the biometrics at the same site where I had to arrange for my passport pickup after interview, ustraveldocs.com. It was a very efficient tool, first I selected where I wanted my biometrics (city), then I was asked to schedule myself at the available dates and times. It even displayed how many slots were available for a particular time, in case there were many applicants wanting to have their biometrics together. I could reschedule twice too. In the end, I took a confirmation of the appointment. I was so impressed with the site I wished scheduling any appointment was that easy.

Thank you so much I will do that, it will definitely help me feel more comfortable with the apointments set at times I can do them both the same day.

Thanks for your input

While going through my personal effects, I found some vaccination certificates detailing the Tdap and MMR vaccines I got in 2005. I hope they will get me exempted from those and save me some £s but they look a little too "handwritten" for my liking :P

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.
