One thing to remember to NOT give your SO is ..FLEXERIL (or generic name is cyclobenzaprine)...

My husband got a prescription from the doctor for that due to some pain from pulled muscles..

Ok, that is normal, right??...NOOOO... ok let me 'splain.. we have a dog . A dog he likes but hates to have in the house due to reasons I have discussed in previous threads. ok so he won't touch the floor with bare feet coz of the potential of touching the dog hair. (hehe silly but true)... anyway.. so he took one of the muscle relaxers and within about 30 minutes, he was FACE DOWN AND FLAT OUT ON THE FLOOR!!!!! I said, come to bed..he waved his fingers and said "I'm ok just leave me to lay here all the night" hehehe...He is afraid to take them now so we use Ibuprofen..... Takes longer but relaxes the muscles just enough....hehehehe

Just wanted to say that I missed ya! :luv:

and for the love of god...tell ur SO to bring proper clothes for the climate here... mine thought just 2 pairs of pants and 3 shirts would suffice....ummmmmmm NO... We had to go out and get him a whole new wardrobe.... If you like any certain clothes they wore when you visited them..make sure to tell them to bring those certain clothes coz they will probably give most of their wardrobe to brothers or other family members. (at least thats what mine did)

Hi girls! I sure have missed everybody!!!! It has been killing me to be away so long but with the new houseguest and stuff...I just haven't had aaaaany time for the computer. I had to ask my husband to make supper last night just so I could pay the bills that I hadn't had time to deal with.

that is another thing..tell them about bills...interest...credit cards (and why they're evil even though you have 5 of them)... Noor still can't figure those things out!

I don't know about other countries but most of the clothes (esp jeans) are kinda dorky in Egypt. They are high waist which is weird for men. I told Moh to bring what he wants but he'll need to buy some more stylish clothes once he's here. Weird jeans and shirts with dorky sayings are only cute in Egypt.

What is with the tight jeans men wear over there? When I went to Jordan I brought my fiance some jeans, looser fitting jeans, he was so relieved, LOL.

Mooooooody, I missed ya! Any word yet?

I missed you too, honey! Nope nothing yet :( You??

About the tight pants...I have a pic of Moh in which he appears to have a camel toe from the tightness of the pants. That can't be comfy. Last time I was there he did buy a nicer pair that fit better and had a nice wash. I saw one guy in Cairo with greazy slicked back hair, tight button down shirt (buttoned down to reveal chest hair), gold chains, and tight, tight pants. Wow! He looked like he belonged in Saturday Night Fever.

Oh Oh... I have one! Its not as simple as buying a car, jumping in and off you go. There are such things as licensing, taxes, gas, maintenance and insurance. There is also a little matter of LEARNING HOW TO DRIVE FIRST, there are these things called traffic laws you have to know before you drive and a wee little thing called a driver's test you have pass before they give you the purdy laminated card that gives you permission to terrorize the roads. (but I am a meanie)

(I haven't been able to read the thread. I'm supposed to be working... blah)

oh, oh, oh...and another thing to remind them of is...not only do you have to get an appointment to see the doctor..but also expect to pay somewhere between 30 and 50 dollars before you leave the office. (more or less depending on your insurance situation) Noor was quite shocked...
