Hi... my 1130 package was approved on Aug 22, 2014 and I received a letter stating this and that my case was being sent to the NVC. However, on Sept 9 I received an email stating my case was approved and being sent to NVC. It's been 5 weeks and when I called NVC today, they said they do not have my package and that I have to send an email to NVC research so they can look into the matter. Has this happened to anyone else?

NVC upon completion sends your stuff to the

embassy, who will schedule U a date when available

and send to U or atty a checklist of what to bring

to interview & how to go about medical, many times

the customer service ppl info is not correct, you

can give it another wk. or so & recheck.

Use this time to make sure U have copies of all docs

(as back up) for interview, get vaccines done & go

over your paper-work...Its take time for background

checks and to be put in system

Hi, my petition was approved on 22/08/2014, shipped to NVC Sep 2. My husband(petitioner) has been trying to call them many times but the line is always busy. He just emailed NVC today and we are awaiting for a response.

Our I130 got approved on Aug. 11, 2014 and NVC still did not receive it! We also wrote an email like they told us to do about a week ago, but so for no response. So I know how you feel :crying:

Thanks all for responding.....I've found its best to call NVC around 6:30 am central time and around 10:30 pm central time. I always can get thru around that time. The sad thing about it is they never have any information to provide other than your package has not been received. How is that possible when our case was in Nebraska and now forwarded to New Hampshire? Why does it take over a month to be received.

It can take up to 8 weeks for your case to be sent to the NVC. Since you got the email on Sept 9th, I would not assume your case left Nebraska until this time. You can find out exactly WHEN your case left the USCIS if the petitioner calls the USCIS, talks to a tier 2 and asking when the case was shipped. Then take up to 8 weeks from that date, but most often 30-45 days.

I was approved on 9/2 and case was shipped from Nebraska on 9/9/14. I called NVC every week. I called last night and was told that they received on 9/29/14 and to allow 30 days for a case number to be assigned. I think the Nebraska service center waits and sends all approved files at once for a certain time period.
