Hi!

My interview is going to be held on a different city (3 hrs by train) than where I reside. Do I need to get a stamped envelope so that they can send me back the passport or do I have to be there in person when the document is ready?

As I understand it you need to register at the address below to get your documents returned:

Go to http://www.usembassy.org.uk/visaservices/?p=3276 and if you have not already registered for the courier service, click on “Register” and follow the instructions. You are required to enter your case number and date of your appoitnment with the Embassy. DV applicants, please note, in order for your case number to be recognzied, you must drop the three zeros. You cannot register for this service until you have received your appointment letter. K visa applicants are also required to pay the MRV application fee after they have arranged for the return of their documents.

I had the same issue..

Ask the embassy you will go through. They will provide you the best answer.

If it's in the same country it should be possible. For Belgium the shipping fees are included in the visa fees but they do not ship outside of the country and you cannot bring an enveloppe or anything. That's why I had to go back to get it in hand.

Just ask the embassy that's in charge of your case.

In case you're from Frankfurt as I saw on a previous post : Viel Glück! Kein Stress es wird schon gehen ;)

So it's not gonna be easy.

It's going to be really hard;

we're gonna have to work at this everyday,

but I want to do that because I want you.

I want all of you, forever, everyday.

You and me.. everyday.
