Post Interview Process

Hello All - so my fiance's interview as almost two weeks ago in New Delhi. I flew out and attended the interview with him - fortunately it was a painless process and he was approved within three minutes of the interview. The lady at the counter said that he can collect his Visa within 3-5 business days from the pick up location we decided prior (we decided Chandigarh since he resides in Punjab). It's been well over 5 business days and he still has not recieved an email/text to pick up his passport.

I am getting kind of worried and of course with all this waiting I am becoming highly impatient. Can someone please share their experience and give me an idea of when he can be expecting his passport by.

Did you log in to CEAC to check the status of the approval there? If its "Issued" then nothing to worry about from a consulate perspective and should be in transit between Consulate and the VAC.

If its in Administrative processing for more than 2-3 weeks then it could be due to lots of reasons.

Hello - yes i logged in and the case is stuck on READY. I attended the interview with him and it was approved... Not sure what the hold up is.

Do the dates get updated everyday? or is the date stuck like few weeks/month back?

there is no date - you put in your case number and it says READY.

There is a status updated date right below where you see ready or Issued. for example, under Issued for my wife's case it says below. Last updated date was Feb 13th. What is it for yours? track that.

Hi - I am in a similar situation. Wife attended interview on oct 1 and since then three have been no updates. It says ready. Did you get the passport back with visa in it?
