When I filled out my G325a there was a space for 'VJ NICK______________'

;)

I wish I'd written that.

Excellent come-back.

Well whether they do or not, I fail to see how they would be able to correlate people here with apps. Though it would be great if there was someone here who worked for ICE and who could be all 'yep I saw them fighting online, they're a real couple'

I expect they probably do, but I also suspect that it's pretty unlikely that anyone goes through and bothers to match up screennames with timelines and first names and then with applications. Not likely to yield useful information, let alone actionable information.

(What, they're going to connect the dots, figure out that you needed help wording Q18 of the I-129F, and deny the visa solely on that? What are they going to write on the form?)

I've heard of at least one member who was asked at her embassy interview (London, IIRC) about things she'd written on VJ. I think her name was Tracy, or something else with a T.

There have also been at least 2 members who claimed to be AOs (adjudicating officers).

I don't worry about it, after all, our marriage is honest and I knew beforehand there was the possibility they'd investigate us. Didn't we all? And, you know, it's the Internet. Nothing is private. I don't put anything on my MySpace that I wouldn't want USCIS or my employer to find, either.

I was just thinking the same thing, I remember when this happened. I think the interviewer even asked her if her screen name was _______. And I do remember at least one member here who was an adjudicating officer. This was all before my absence from VJ in mid 2005.

So my answer is yes, I know they do.

Life long Texan, living in Hull, UK. How did this happen?

11 January - We met online and became friends

4 February - Became a couple

17 March - I went to Hull to meet the guy

20 March - First "I love you"

25 March - I go home :(

16 November - He comes to visit me in Texas

25 November - he leaves back home :(

14 December - ENGAGED! <3

1 March- I fly off to see my babe in Hull

4 April - I go home :(

9 October - He comes back to Texas!!!!

13 October - WEDDING!!!

22 October - He goes back to England and I continue to wait for my settlement visa.

13 December 2007 - Move to England

Now the wait begins, I will become a citizen then we will DFC back to the US.

Yanno what I thought would be cool? If they did monitor and catalogue all our phone calls. Then when he goes for the interview, there can be a ref number where the CO can listen to a plethora of lovey-doviness and knockdown dragouts. The CO would be all 'you really fcuked up on the 9th of Jan and I totally agreed with her when she called you a b@stard, btw'

well, that's the way it'd go down in my head ;)
