Question about online status information

My 485 status was changed to "testing and interview". The site aslo says I would receive a notice with a time and place for my interview. If I have not received the notice within 30 days of the date the notice is mailed, I should call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance.

I am wonderding how long it would take for me to recevice the mail physically. Or should I be expected to receive the mail after the website shows the exact time and place fro my interview?

You will get the mail within the next couple of days. The letter will contain all the necessary information including the location for the interview. The website will not list this information. ..good luck

I called the USCIS today. They told me that they will update the online status when they mail me the notice about the date and location of my interview. Is that ture?

You haven't been scheduled for an interview yet; you're just in line to be scheduled. I waited seven months after I entered that status before the interview was scheduled and the notice was mailed.

If your local field office's processing times are past your priority date, you can contact USCIS. Otherwise, you are within the normal processing timeframe and you just have to wait.

Thanks! I thought I would have intervew soon aftern the status was changed to "testing and interview". Now what i can do is to wait:(
