Actually they do behead people on an almost daily basis.

There are reports of beheading on an truly horrible scale but no actual independent proof and that doesn't make it a daily occurrence although it is evidence that the terrorists are certainly living up to the name. More than that, there is zero evidence of actual terrorist beheading in the USA. The USA is safe from such horror at this time so worrying about some disgruntled person who has verbally threatened a co worker as being more than what it was is still an over reaction, whatever way you look at it.

None of it is acceptable - I don't know how that became my being an apologist for terrorist actions, but there you go. What I am saying, clearly I thought, is that fear mongering plays right into the hands of the terrorists and extremists. That's the point of beheading rather than just shooting their 'victims'. It's done to make it seem more horrible than it is to instil fear into their enemies. Doing a good job on some aren't they?

More than that, has anyone asked how this conversation arose? I mean, what terrorist starts a conversation on the lines of "Muriithi identified himself as a Muslim and said he “represented ISIS and that ISIS kills Christians,....“The victim said Jacob asked her what time she got off work and she replied by asking him in a joking manner if he was going to kill her,’ the detective wrote. “Jacob told the victim, ‘Yes,’ he was going to cut her head off. The victim asked Jacob what he was going to cut her head off with and he said, ‘A blade,’ then told her after he did it he was going to post it on Facebook.'. What type of terrorist says such things? They don't give any warning, they just act.

Did anyone consider the possibility that the 'co-worker' who reported the incident actually goaded the person into making a sarcastic comment? I can quite see how that would come about. With all this anti-muslim sentiment sloshing around, it's not a stretch to imagine the co worker goes up to the guy, finds out he's a muslim and asks him why muslims don't condemn the violence and beheading and instead of just saying putting her right he says what he said? I think that's far more credible than that he's actually a really, really dumb terrorist sympathizer but I'm quite prepared to wait and see what happens - if anything.
