hi

i was wondering since my husband and i have filled for his mom to come here, and we added our income together on 864 form. now i was getting all the documents ready and for mother in law and my husband i know i will need birth certificate and other stuff .

my question is will they need my documents too since i was a joint sponsor...

thank you guys who ever gives me any feedback

hi

did you file the i864A, because if you were combining income, you should have filed the i864A as household member?

there you would have needed to present proof of US Citizenship or LPR, proof of relationship, meaning, copy of marriage certificate and proof you both live under the same roof, some type of correspondence with the same address

both the i864 and i864A are sent together with proper documentation. that's all they need from you.
