I'm 99% sure that you are looking at your NOA2, which states your petition is being sent to the NVC. That is different. We all receive the NOA2 of course. TSC then updates your status online and notifies via e-mail and text message when it sends it to NVC. CSC does not.

i received no email or text message regarding the this from TSC. The only approval notice, saying it was sent to NVC came by regular postal mail. That is what I was referring to as the source of approval before.

I'm also certain that I have email turned on to receive messages. So far none since long ago.

Where is the TSC updated status found? I searched at CEAC but there is no record of our petition using the MNL case number.

Your petition was processed and approved at CSC right? So of course you would not receive any message from TSC about your case. Just like the rest of us who were approved by CSC did not receive any notification from TSC. That was my original point: TSC provides an extra bit of info to petitioners for the cases it approves. CSC does not for the petitions it approves.

Your case did not go through TSC right? Regardless, you already have your NVC-given case #. Did you select Immigrant Visa on the CEAC status page?

kmaj89, this is completely expected. :) It should take on average about 2 days for your case to actually show up in the system. If it takes more than 4, give them another call, but 1-2 is absolutely normal. I'm in the same boat myself. :) (.. and my inner programmer is screaming about the inefficiency of their DB refreshes or whatever that delay is due to).

Just to give everyone a head's up, the DoS is having problems with the biometric/background check step, so visas that have been approved as of June 9th, are going to wait and a back log may develop.
