I had called December 8th to NVC and still the case hasn't arrived. The NVC rep I talked to between 6 and 7 am said I was the 4th person with NOA2 dates of October 22/23/24 that she talked to in that hour and none of our cases have reached NVC.

I called the same day, just a bit later. No news. There is a ton of people here who got approved a month before us and still don't have a case number. There is definitely some sort of hold up and its extremely frustrating! Please keep me updated if you receive ANYTHING!

No problem! I just read your new thread and I am definitely going to follow through with the steps that you have done, tomorrow (service request and contact senator). I know I am ONLY (lol) at 42 days (I don't think the panic and frustration is comparable to your situation just yet), but when I see people's cases sent over in a week or two after approval, it really makes me anxious!

I think I've been crying every day since I hit the 42-day mark. :)

My fiance tells me I have control issues, because I do get supremely frustrated by watching people speed through the process. And I tell him, "Really? Control issues? I didn't have that figured out by the time I was five."

Well I found this thread only last night and because of I literarily didn't go to bed till 5:30 am. I was shaking. I haven't started crying yet because it really helps knowing I am not alone in this situation! Haha! I guess some of us are just a bit luckier than others... :crying:

So, for all of you who are still waiting for an NVC case number, how many days are you past your NOA-2 at this point? We're at 70 days. Still no word.

Just curious. I know several of you have been waiting a significantly longer time than we have. Best of luck to all of you!

82 days right here

FYI. 78 days from NOA2 to NVC for use. Upon case number assignment told by NVC rep that processing could take up to 42 days there.

Nice. Finally. Did you do anything in particular or did it magically appear when you called NVC? :D

After emailing the U.S embassy in Santiago.. they notified me that they received my case.. December 10th and set her interview. So it seems I had more success contacting the embassy rather than NVC (never emailed me back).

For reference:

NOA2: November 3rd 2014
Embassy received case: December 10th 2014

Found out my case number through the embassy.

I found out my packet is in AP at NVC too. I am really disappointed, but hopefully it goes through quickly.

Nothing, just wait for it to be sent to the embassy and then they will contact the beneficiary :)

Bebekins, did you call the nvc by the way or just email before you contacted the embassy? Because I keep calling and emailing nvc and calling uscis and am getting nowhere. Uscis won't even let me speak to a tier 2 person and I've tried repeatedly. The nvc tells me every time that they have no record of my uscis receipt number in their system.
