Thank you!! Tier 2 said case is still at CSC. So he did put in service request. One thing I didn't ask was the service request ID.

Awesome, I'm glad it worked! If you registered on uscis's website, you can get the service request ID that way. That will also allow you to track the service request. It will tell you when it the request has been assigned to an officer and when that officer has sent you a reply. Unfortunately you'll have to wait until you get that reply in the mail to know what it is.

We just called USCIS and spoke to a tier 2 representative. We got told that our case got sent to NVC on september 19th. We are now trying to get the batch number from NVC. I think they lost it...

Okay so this is what we did:

We called NVC, a manager told us that they never got our case, I assumed they never got the batch, and she recommend us to call back the USCIS and complain, She also told us that she attend a few more calls on the same situation today, so yeah, we are not alone.

After that we called the USCIS and the lady who attend us first, wel... she hanged up on us when we asked her for a Tier 2. Then we called back and after a few minutes on hold we got to speak to a Tier 2, he admitted that our case never got sent out and he put a service request for it.
We are also gonna contact our local congressman again.

davidsammie. Sorry to hear that hope you will get good news soon I just want to know when you check the website USCIS it say case transfer or still show case approved ???

While I can't speak for davidsammie, for the rest of us in a similar situation, it says our cases are approved.

We all are with CSC too. TSC sucks, but at least it sends all its files to NVC correctly!

Finally got my case number after 46days! :dancing:

I called right at 7AM EST and waited about 12 minutes on hold. She told me it should leave within 24 hours. I didn't get an arrive date.

Late last week and over the weekend I contacted both Senators and Congressman and also sent the research email. I never contacted USCIS as I am in Dubai and it is difficult and expensive to call, plus the 10 hour time difference CST. Obviously none of that had any impact but still it made me feel better.

Today NVC received our approved petition! It took 2 full business weeks including Thanksgiving. Our case was also expedited but I don't know if that has anything to do with how long it took to get to NVC. The woman I spoke with said it could take up to 40 days to receive a case #. Ahhhhhhhh!

I know it's probably too soon but I'm starting to call NVC again. It's tough to get through today, though.

Anyone else in the extended-wait group trying this week?

Yup my fiancé is gonna call on Wednesday. That would of been a week since we last spoke to someone at USCIS and they said our case should be there a week from then so fingers crossed!

I called this morning, no luck. I will call Wednesday and Friday too. It should be there by the end of this week if USCIS is right. Of course we all know how unlikely that is...

I'm going to lose my friggin' mind - or at least what's left of it - if we don't get these stupid numbers soon.
