That's crazy. Hopefully you'll hear something more satisfying from the service request. This is so frustrating but, one guy my fiancé talked to at USCIS said that we were lucky to even have an approval. I wish we could find more people in our situation to compare responses. I wonder if it's just coincidence that we both got transferred from TSC to CSC?

We weren't a transfer. We were straight up CSC.

Our USCIS status page now says our case has been assigned an agent with a service request number. I suppose that means diddly squat.

On a side note, patience and praying. Neither one does any good when some paper pusher has pushed our papers in the wrong direction.

Hmm, my case status hasn't changed since my NOA2 approval. What date was your service request made?

Nov. 10.

Are you just checking your case status or have you set up an account? When you log into an account and add a receipt number to track, your page should show a case history below the case status showing your NOA-2 date.

Thanks! Well that just pissed me off more. It says my case was assigned to an officer on 11/9. WHAT THE HECK?? I made the request on October 31st (which USCIS acknowledged yesterday on the phone), yet they didn't assign it for over a week? What a bunch of lazy people!

And I love this site, but we should be able to be more colorful with our language. The limits are way over the top.

Does your case history say about your case being expedited? Or just about a service request? Cuz mine says "your request to have your case expedited was approved"

No. Nothing about it being expedited, just assigned to an officer .

Hmm that's weird. On the same date for each action it says "your request to have your case expedited was assigned to an officer" then it says "we have sent you a response to have your case expedited" then it says "your request to have your case expedited has been approved"

I though you could only be expedited if it meant the beneficiary (me) would be caused hardship? Now I'm really confused

Yeah, that's strange. It sounds like your case has not been approved yet. You did receive a hard copy of the NOA2 right? Ha, god bless USCIS!

Well my case status on USCIS' website has been updated. It says now:

11/14/2014

On November 14, 2014, your general inquiry, referral number ETCxxxxxxxTSC, was completed.

On November 14, 2014, we sent a response to your general inquiry, referral number ETCxxxxxxTSC.

Great right?? But of course when I called up USCIS they said they couldn't tell me what the response was. Thanks USCIS! I guess it's like a RFE- just gotta wait.

Here's what it says:

On November 10, 2014, your Filing Question, referral number WKD##########SPO, was assigned to an officer for response.

Is what I just posted above consistent with what your case history read prior to these updates?

Yeah. this morning it said:

On November 9, 2014, your Filing Question, referral number ETCxxxxxTSC, was assigned to an officer for response.

After the update, it changed that date to November 14th strangely (but I didn't copy and paste that line).

I wonder if I had checked my status prior to November 9th, it would have said "On October 30, 2014, your Filing Question...." since that was the day my request was made.
