There is no reason to call USCIS right now. They'll tell you they sent it, even if you they haven't. You might be able to make a service request, but that won't do you much good probably because they have 30 days to respond.

At this stage, you should just stick with calling NVC since it's been less than a month since you received your NOA2.

One thing for sure , she will be for xmas with you. Good luck and she will do fine.

Thanks, We are both running on Adrenaline. She slept last well last night, I slept like ####### knowing when I went to bed she was getting up and getting ready for interview. I don't know if I got 4 hours sleep last and maybe 5 hours the night before.

Anyways she was approved contingent on a her getting a new NBI to the Consulate by January, she said no worries I already FedEx a request for it, I will have the end of next week, things happened so quickly at the end my fiancée did not have time to get to her consulate and get fingerprinted and then get NBI request back and back home and back to Israel before interview. her NBI is 8 yrs old.

Her Israeli police certificate arrived no problem.

On another here, a general note not to anyone person in particular.

As I said once before our case was what we believe is an easy one for the processor's both are single never married and no kids involved. so there was divorce papers to review, no minor children papers to review, We both have jobs, and ok financially not rich but no co-sponsor papers. There are several more factors which go into play, like anything else the more there is involved the longer it takes to process and people need to be aware of that when review other peoples timelines and start comparing dates.

Good theory however our case involves divorce, minor children, etc and my timeline is almost exact to yours. So yea there's really no rhyme or reason to it. I truly believe it's luck of the draw and who's desk ur file reaches. So far so good!

See you never know. I was trying to do a remote analysis on what could cause one case to take more time than another. you are right, it just depends, i say god is in control and that is the ultimate reason right there. now why one happens before another i do not know that either. we just have to do our part and trust that he has our best interest at heart.

So true. Everything happens for a reason at the right time. It's very difficult process and will definite test your faith, love, and sanity!!

Btw have you gotten around to scheduling interview yet?

No his passport needed renewed. Should have it on the 14th. Then will submit DS160 and get our interview date. Our embassy schedules them after receiving the completed DS160 online and his bio page from passport. Do u have an interview date?

Posted (edited)

oh yeah i forgot you mentioned he was getting his passport renewed and was not expecting things to go so fast.

Actually things took off, we had only a one day window for an interview for next two months, and it was today. fiancée had to scramble to get medical exam and get to interview, got approved today contingent on a new NBI (Filipino police certificate)
