Checked status today and were in transit :D

What does the following mean:

"Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center"

The interview date part? What is it referring too?

they all say that relax.

The beneficiary must go in for an interview after completing the necessary documents and taking a medical examl, how the interview i scheduled is different from consulate to consulate.

Start reading up on your consulate http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Ireland&cty=Dublin

Ah that's grand so, that's what I thought/knew after reading everything a million times, that Dublin will schedule my interview once I send back the notice of readiness from packet 3. So when I read that I had a wonderful but relaxed ;) "huh?" expression on my face :D

Do the DS 160 now!!! fill in everything you have and use dummy information where you do not have it.

If you have a printer, print it out and go over it, i did and found a few typo errors.

Just do not submit, click save. Do not submit until you read it over a few times, i found a few spelling errors on ours.

Once you are happy with you can submit but since you do not have the packet 3 telling you what you need and the Consulate schedules your interview it will not hurt to wait, when you do submit print out the confirmation page, you will need that page, it says you are take it with you to the interview.

Also the petitioner should be gather the financial support documents, both the beneficiary and petitioner should write a new letter of intent. The petitioner should be gathering this data now, and sending it to the beneficiary immediately to so they will have it.

Also, read this http://dublin.usembassy.gov/fiancees_visas2.html

http://dublin.usembassy.gov/medical_exam.html

Read over these pages and links a few times they will help you understand everything better.

Thanks

I am not sleeping yet, but I am warn out trying to get last minute things done, i know she will be here sooner than either one us expected. we are both tired from going 90 miles and hour day in and day out. I stayed up to 1am to speak with her for a while last night and had to be up at 6am this morning a few days of that makes one able to sleep. Plus I know we are as prepared as can be at this point and God has the final say not us.

Yes I am still antzy

Yes you are right, we want to make sure the Israeli police certificate arrived and her NBI is good and they do not need an Updated one from Manila (she is a Filipino living and working in Israel).

We want to see when the consulate says we can expect the Visa before I book flights and go over. trust me it is hard because I am planner and to not have some sort of a plan on something like this dives me crazy.

It is hard to tell.

just start to look at what the beneficiary will need for the interview, these things take time to compile plus it helps, it gives you some sort of a feeling like you are doing something.

if you have stated this try to concentrate on something for a few hours a day other than this, it helps in staying sane
