Hi all, I hope you're all doing well

I was checking the visa bulletin cutoff numbers and comparing them to old bulletins just to keep track of the progress and know our chances of getting an interview.
Now I am wondering if there is a way of knowing the number of the issued visa? This information would make it really easy.

Any thoughts

Thanks :)

Do you mean issued on a month by month basis? No that wouldn't make it easier - as the visa bulletin DV numbers are published two months in advance, i don't see how numbers from at best a month ago will be useful?...

We have a very high case number AF82xxx and we are stressed :)

knowing the number of visa issued will help us know how many visa remains and our chances of getting an interview by august sptember.

I mean if as example cutoff is 8000 in october and by end of october we now that only 1000 visa were issued we would know that there are 49000 visa remaining ;)

No, you won't. You can't work it out like that. There are "holes" in the case number sequence ie not every number from 1 to 8000 exists to start with, and some case numbers have more than visa associated with them. And different regions have different cutoff numbers every month. So knowing the case numbers doesn't help you. Neither does the number of visas issued, because these speed up and slow down at various times in the year, according to region etc. And you don't know what the regional quotas are anyway. The only way you will know for sure will be in July 2015 when the final cutoff numbers are published.
