Don't forget to let us know how the interview goes! I may be in a similar situation so would be helpful to know what they say :)

Hi! Had my interview this morning (Manila) and my visa was APPROVED! Had no problem with the affidavit of support. i took note of KayDeeCee's advice to present the pay stubs and letter from the employer to support my fiance's current income. I also included the bank statement but the CO handed it back to me. He just confirmed if my fiance is no longer working in his previous company which was stated in his 2013 ITR. And other questions were all about my relationship with my petitioner/fiance.

Hope it also works in your country.

What I did was, i put my form i134 along with the pay stubs and letter from employer in one folder. I was thinking that in that way, it will be easily seen by the CO and i will not look defensive if I assert to explain his current work status and income. And it worked. The CO compared the 2013 ITR with the supporting documents attached to it.

And to all who spent time to answer my query, THANK YOU SO MUCH! :)

Hello! I am new to this site, so please forgive me if this question has already been asked. I am a U.S. citizen who recently became engaged to my girlfriend from China. We are both students in college and would like to get married in August 2015. Since I am a full time student, I only have enough time to work a part time job. Will I have to wait until after I graduate and get a job to start the K-1 visa process?

Hi! I don't know if co-sponsor is allowed in embassy in China. If it does, you may look for a co-sponsor. Your parents perhaps.

I'm sure there are other VJ members who could be of help. Just wait for their replies in this post.
