You need to wait for his 2013 tax return after he filed next year. You can go to your interview but you will get this RFE due to his ITR and W2. Paystubs and employment letter aren't enough. Because the Manila embassy requires ITR and W2. I know its stressful but thats how they roll the game. you can do it!

Unfortunately Manila Embassy dont accept cosponsorship. So you only have one way to pass your visa. Its the waiting game, your fiance needs to file his 2014 tax return that should be above poverty level and you can send it to them. But as what i metioned you can still go to your interview in ocotber they will just give you RFE.

Thank you raven52 for sharing with me your experience. My fiance consulted a lawyer yesterday and said that pay stubs and a letter of employment could be used as supporting documents for the current income. Hope everything will go well on my interview.

He has the tax return from 2013. It just doesn't show enough income to meet the requirement because he was not making enough last year. It is not like he is without a tax return. He is currently making enough now. He supplies the required 1040 and W-2 that Manila asks for, but lists his income on the I-134 as what he makes currently, not what he made last year in the past. The employment letter and pay stubs are proof that his current income meets the requirement.

Hi devyteddy66! Sad to hear that I need to wait that long. Anyway, I have no choice but to comply with the process. My fiance consulted a lawyer though. Will just wait and see on what will happen on my interview. I'm still hoping and praying for the positive result. Thanks for your time for sharing with me your experience.

That's the same explanation of my fiance's lawyer.
