I-751 October 2014 Filers

Hey Guys,

I have been a follower of VJ, however i have not been too good at updating my case info here. However, here is my last progress:

1. I filled to remove the conditions of GC in October 2014

2. VSC requested more evidence in May 2015

3. On June 11th, the evidence was received at the VSC by certified mail.

I have not heard anything yet and I am getting a little impatient, because the approval is taking quite long compared to other cases and also because I have not even been notified of an interview.

I WAS WONDERING IF ANYBODY HAD ANY INSIGHT ON WHY IT HAS TAKEN SO LONG?

VSC takes really long on processing RFE's, you can be lucky and get your RFE processed in a week and if that doesn't happen, it can take them 3 months+ to process it, which means you might hear something by mid September. If I were you I will give them 2 months and by mid August go ahead and submit a service request, according to their website all cases up until Nov 3-rd should be wrapped up and finished and we all know this is not the truth, unfortunately nothing we can do:(

They are just pretty/very slow in processing everything.

If you want to give me your detailed dates on what you sent them and what you have received I can add you to the timeline:)

Thank you for your kind insight. Once i get home i will get the specific dates and i will post them here to be added.

Again thank you for your info on the estimated processing times for RFE as well as for the service request tip. I was not aware of this possibility.

Guess we were "Lucky" I can say that VSC received our RFE on July 16th.. We received Approval letter on July 29th, which stated the day of Decision was July 23rd and Yesterday we received the email that the card was being processed..

Can Anyone advice what is the average wait time of the card arriving after you received the update of the card in production? Saw on the website that card was in production on 7/23, however, still waiting for the card.never received a text. Thank you!

You should probably get it some time this week. I would say average is close to two weeks:)

I am sure N400 will be way less stressful and demanding than the I-751. I want to say I slept through the whole night and only woke up when my husband complained he was cold and he needed a blanket(yes, he is a spoiled hubby:))

I have to say after we were approved, I felt all the air was let out like a balloon. I didn't know what to do with all the time I had used to worry about the application...LOL. Yes, I have a spoiled husband as well. I know the feeling .

This has been a really good group. Thanks to everyone and all the support I received. You made the wait easier.

Hi everyone,

I finally got all my dates together, i would really appreciate if someone can update the status chart with my case information.

Also, it seems to be taking way longer than their estimated processing times so i placed a service request today. They told me I will get a letter from the VSC within 2 weeks with further information on the status of my case. Does anyone know what kind of details are included in this letter or if it is just genera info like "we have received your case, we and we are working on it"?

These are my dates:

I-758 -> 10/27/2014

NOA1 -> 11/07/2014

BIOMETRICS -> 11/25/2014

RFE -> 5/13/2015

USPS RECEIPT CONFIRMATION FOR RFE -> 6/11/2015
