Can you tell me that I will be next??? LOL

LOL...yeah, tell all the remaining cases they are next. We may be on to something. I was actually about to delete emails on my laptop and I saw "USCIS." I was like what...."USCIS!" I opened the email and I saw the magic words: Card/Document Production. Five minutes later I received a text stating that my case had been updated.

Thank you! My husband and I are so excited and just full of relief. Onward. I finally get to shred a lot of papers. I'm keeping one copy of everything and the rest will be shredded...LOL.

GGG1975's approval updated! Congrats :)

Vermont Service Center (25 applicants, 12 approved - 48%)

GGG1975...............10/21/14......11/03/14......12/02/14......06/11/15

Is the date on your NOA-1 11/03/14? or is this the date you received the notice in the mail???

I am just really excited if you happen to be the first Nov filer or whether we made a mistake when putting the date for the NOA-1?

Thank you for your response:)

So I went to my info pass appointment and got my passport stamped with an I-551 stamp valid for 1 year from today. I asked if they can give me a case status update, and he said they don't have any updates and something about that it takes so long to process applications because they don't have enough people... Also, he said that I can apply for citizenship if my ROC case is still pending by the time I am eligible to apply for citizenship which I knew already anyway. I asked him if it is ok that my case status is not updated on the website, and he said it is ok, doesn't mean anything.

So I didn't hear anything new really, just got my passport stamped and can now confidently travel and return to the U.S. till June 2016...

Just realized that I forgot to ask the officer about what happens if I travel and get my ROC approved while being outside the U.S., and if I don't have a new physical card on hand returning to the U.S. Anybody knows how that works?

Physical Green card is simply a proof of residency. so is I 551 stamp in your passport. Which means if you have traveled outside of the country and they have delivered the green card at your home, you should be okay with your I 551 stamp in the passport. YOu should be able to enter the country without any trouble from them.

When we travel my husband will not have a new I-551 stamp, he'll only need his green card, correct? When they review his passport they are not going to be looking for a new i-551 stamp as long as he has his green card, correct?
