I saw the update, too, but based on the "as of March 31" I believe they haven't changed anything and CSC still hasn't update to April 30th, so I guess we will have to wait until Mon or Tue next week and see if they move it up even by a day, but based on the fact they haven't even processed one case I would say there will be no movement.

if you look on trackitt, one person was approved yesterday from october.

I believe that VSC is working on cases, it is just that Vj may have maybe 5% of the 751 filing population on here.

Approved or got his/her card in the mail? Because if it is a card or a letter it might be posted with backdate. Hopefully they are working because of what we all see here, I don't even think there is an actual office in VSC LOL

That is good news. Their tracker is giving me a headache, who really needs all this information on there???

Hopefully they speed up next week, since this week is over.

So I just called uscis customer service and it was a waste of time, the robotic person that andwered told me that even tho is been 8 months from the time they received our application, the vcs is still within processing time and they are working on sep 29 cases, I told her I understand that but that was last updated on 3/31/15..she cut me off and told me that I couldnt submit a service request but I'm more than welcome to call back later on..what a joke

Sounds as if VCS cases are in for a long wait. :( I must say that the time has flown by since our biometic. It's already been 6 month. When we applied 6 months was what was listed on the USCIS processing time. How things change. I hope we all hear something by August 2015.

I am pretty sure you can submit the request online, but you will probably get a letter in the mail that says "your case is still within normal processing times". On Monday hopefully they update their timeline and move forward at least 3 weeks/no way I see that happening/.

Yes, I also tried to submit a service request several days ago and once I submitted the website confirmation page told me that my case is within processing time. I then signed up for an info pass appointment to get my passport stamped for a trip I am planning to do this summer with my husband. My info pass appointment is this Friday. We'll see if they give me any update on my case.

My only concern about traveling is if a decision is made and it's an RFE or denial (because that is always a possibility) what happens upon reentry into the US? We are planning a big trip later in the year and having the GC stuff out of the way would be a huge relief. I don't plan to book anything until the card is in hand. :).

If it is an RFE you won't have a problem with reentry, if it is a denial you are not getting in, but it won't e denial without a RFE or interview first.

Unfortunately, this is how their system work, ridiculous based on the fact the people that filed in CSC the same time already forgot they passed through the process:(

I don't understand how one region of the country can be so ahead of another region. It's such an unfair system. I know some people have stated that they are working on other types of applications but government agencies divide out the work accordingly to the type of application. People who work on one application wouldn't work on another. I work for the government and individuals are assigned a portion of the work. It would be rare that a worker is working on 751 applications and other types of application. Crossover is rare because people are usually trained for a specific workload. Things are so automatic that a checklist is used and if all the boxes are checked the file should be sent forward.

This is such a frustrating system. :( Just venting...I have nothing else to do..:)
