Hi All,

Can someone update me case? My timeline is:

10/17 - USCIS Received my package

11/13 - Biometric done

5/5 - Received message " Card ordered to be produced". No approval message received. No questions asked!

5/14 - Received 10 year card!!! Im happy!

I am really curious how was some people approved much sooner than others.

I saw people being approved much later even without RFE or interview.

Just wonder how the process actually being taken... did someone first review a file and see a red flag or something, and then escalate it up to a more experienced officer?

Congrats on all the approvals! Good luck to us who are still waiting!

If I would be a Director of USCIS, I would do the following:
1. Wait till Biometric data will be collected (That could take a long time becoz completely different agency handle this process)
2. If Biometric is clear - start to review package. The system will check completeness of documents provided. I think they should have database/formula calculating completeness of package...
3. If its 100% complete - they would just approve, if not would forward to a difference department who handles and investigate all the "red flagged" cases....
Thats what I think...

Hi everyone! A happy update from me!

On Friday, May 15, I submitted an online service request on my case, because it has been more than 7 months and the processing time on USCIS website was 6 months. I suspect my case was slowed down because my first biometrics failed for some reason and I had to retake it - and perhaps my case was put aside on somebody's desk for a final approval based on that new biometric data.

I think that was true because today I received an email that my new card is in production! YAY!

Could someone please update my status in the list? Thanks for everybody's support, as usual, and I will see you again in the Citizenship forums :)

10/01/2014 Package sent to California Service Center

10/03/2014 NOA1

10/10/2014 Received Biometrics Appointment Letter, Biometrics scheduled for 10/30/14

10/22/2014 Early Biometrics Walk-in - Cleveland, OH - weird experience with the clerk there - told me I can go ahead and get my biometrics taken early, but it might be too early and it might not go through??? If it might be a problem, then why let me do it at all?

02/10/2015 New Biometrics letter received, Biometrics scheduled for 03/09/15- I guess that clerk was right??

03/09/2015 Second biometrics

..waiting..

5/15/2015 Put in a service request online - outside of processing time

5/18/2015 Approved!

5/23/2015 Card in hand
