I-751 October 2014 Filers

Mine is working fine, but I have no notifications. Sometimes their online system is down, so check maybe you won't get an error tomorrow. Also they take time to update any progress online, so you might be getting a letter in the mail before any online notifications.

Mine is working fine as well. No status change since Nov 26th. :-)

Just got RFE on Friday. We already sent in a recent statement from a joint checking account we have, statements showing we're on the same credit card account for 5 different credit cards, a copy of the deed of our house that we're both on, copies of beneficiary statements for 3 different accounts showing my wife as beneficiary to those accounts, transcripts of 2012 and 2013 joint tax returns, itineraries for three different vacations we took together, copies of envelopes from different people addressed to us both, and letters from two people who have known us since we got married attesting to a real marriage.

The one thing they mentioned in the I-797E was, "The documentation submitted is insufficient because the bank statement submitted was dated recently." I'm planning on sending more statements from our joint checking, but I'm wondering how many to send. Would you send statements from every month since we had our joint account, or just a sampling?

We don't have any children, we don't have any loans together because we don't have any loans other than the house mortgage, which I had before we were married. Our utility bills aren't in both of our names, because, again, I was in the house before we were married. We don't have a lease or anything because we own the house (although I would have thought that putting her on the title of my house would have covered this). Our drivers licenses actually show different addresses because mine is 5 years old, from before I bought the house. I'm planning on renewing mine early just so I can get licenses with the same address, and sending copies of those. I'll also send a transcript from the 2014 joint tax return since it's now available, as well as our auto insurance policy (she wasn't on the policy earlier since she only had a learner's permit when we filed). Any other ideas?

Sorry to hear about your RFE! I would resend the quarterly joint bank account statements from now to about 2 years back or close to your "resident since date" Keep us posted
