Wait until the 7th month I think that by then CSC will have probably cleared out October cases, they really work with the speed of light compared to VSC:)

Also, I never know how they don't know if the biometrics weren't good. I know when they did mine the guy kept repeating: "Perfect fingerprint, perfect fingerprint...let's do this one again until it is perfect" Me and him laughed the whole time LOL

I wish you luck, hopefully you are worry free within the next 2 weeks:)

Plam: It is possible that VSC does not have a well trained staff and they simply take longer to process each application. Hence, causing the delays.

Or. It is also possible that they are ALL on vacation even when they are actually at work physically. :-)

That's what I think the problem was with my first biometrics - the guy who did mine was really mean and annoyed with me because I wanted an early walk-in, even though the office was completely empty. Of course I was very nice and polite and just asked if I could, if he would have said no, I would have come back a week later for my appointment. Yet he let me do it, but I think he didn't take good fingerprints and did not try to redo them. (I explained the whole story in a separate threat but that's the essence of it). Anyway...let's hope my second appointment produced successful results.

Thank you, I wont worry about it in the next two weeks because finals are coming in my university so I'll be too busy worrying about that :)

10/10/2014 Received Biometrics Appointment Letter, Biometrics scheduled for 10/30/14

10/22/2014 Early Biometrics Walk-in - Cleveland, OH - weird experience with the clerk there - told me I can go ahead and get my biometrics taken early, but it might be too early and it might not go through??? If it might be a problem, then why let me do it at all?

02/10/2015 New Biometrics letter received, Biometrics scheduled for 03/09/15- I guess that clerk was right??

03/09/2015 Second biometrics

..waiting..

5/15/2015 Put in a service request online - outside of processing time

5/18/2015 Approved!

5/23/2015 Card in hand

Thank you, I wont worry about it in the next two weeks because finals are coming in my university so I'll be too busy worrying about that :)

I have finals coming up, too. All I do is checking the forum every 30 min though instead of studying LOL

Hi,

I just got a letter from uscis that i am approved and should recieve my card within 60 days from my approval date. I was expecting a card, is this the way it suppose to be because no one else mentioned about recieving letter in mail before they recieved there card

Yep! you get the approval notice before the GC!

HI ALL and congrats to those receiving the good news! Quick question, were you guys unable to check the status right before you received the notification? Over the past week or so, I get this message:

"Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:
  • At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information."

Please let me know. Should I call, be worried?

Mine is working fine, but I have no notifications. Sometimes their online system is down, so check maybe you won't get an error tomorrow. Also they take time to update any progress online, so you might be getting a letter in the mail before any online notifications.
