I have a question for all the info pass people. How long once you go online to schedule an appointment do you have to wait for appointment? We filed the 1-751 at the beginning of last week and I am waiting for the NOA. They have cashed my check. My husband is from England and his mother is in poor health and we are needing to go back soon. It may require several trips back and forth this year. I know his GC doesnt expire until beginning of August but we need to plan ahead not knowing what might come up in the future.

They gave me an appointment exactly a week from the date I requested it.

I also scheduled a week before...but depends on the office you are trying to schedule the appointment. You can go to their website enter your zip code, select one of the options and enter your information you can see the dates available to the closets office.

I got a text that my case was updated. So I went and check and yes! It's finally comin!!

Last step citizenship and I'm done dealing with government!

I got no interview nor RFE since AOS and ROC.

Kindly please update my timeline thank you and goodluck everyone!!

I feel like I'm in an alley rolling dice just hoping and my number is never coming up. The sad part is I've never played dice. This process seems endless.

Since we are now going into month 8 as CSC filers, I made an e-request today at https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do , they said they would respond by June 19, 2015. Fingers crossed. My wife is registering for college and the expired GC, even with the extension letter, has become an issue.

10/10/2014 Received Biometrics Appointment Letter, Biometrics scheduled for 10/30/14

10/22/2014 Early Biometrics Walk-in - Cleveland, OH - weird experience with the clerk there - told me I can go ahead and get my biometrics taken early, but it might be too early and it might not go through??? If it might be a problem, then why let me do it at all?

02/10/2015 New Biometrics letter received, Biometrics scheduled for 03/09/15- I guess that clerk was right??

03/09/2015 Second biometrics

5/15/2015 Put in a service request online - outside of processing time

5/18/2015 Approved!

I had an infopass appointment today to get my passport stamped because I was afraid to go out of the country with just the extension letter.

The immigration officer was very nice and she checked my case. She told me it will take at least 8-10 more weeks for VSC to start working on mid/late October cases. So my friends, we just have to sit down and KEEP WAITING. She also said some cases will be transfer to California.

This answers that they give are very general and usually officers add a lot of time just so you dont bug them again anytime soon, they are actively working on the October cases as of now, as you can see on the Vermont list half of the October people already have their conditions removed from their green cards....
