I'm serious.... ya'll should try my job. i always wanted a job where i could sit on my butt and do nothing. well it's not all it's cracked up to be.

None of the above. I don't do this to escape the monotony of work, I do it because I like it. And the nature of my work is one that allows for plenty of "downtime" in between tasks so this doesn't interfere with work at all.

I do!! this month is kinda slow on sales... and the 27" TV we had to demo satellite tv was sold.. we only have a little tv and its hard to watch movies.. so when there are no customers.. VJ is th answer

Since i work for an immigration lawyer, i can kinda say that im on here doing "research" ( ) I dont think posting in Off topic on an immigration forum can be considered research..................

but mostly its out of boredom, and avoiding major projects.......

It's the worst. The last 6-8 months at my last job were like that. Well, the hours were kinda nice (10-3 at full compensation) but even the 5 hours in the office w/ little or nothing to do were a freaken drag.

I know!!! It sucks the life out of you. I mean, come on, there is only so much you can do to entertain yourself online most days. I feel like any day now I'm gonna get a page that says "you have reached the end of the internet" And ya'll don't post fast enough most days to keep my busy It makes the days go on FOREVER as well.

It's helped a bit knowing that I'm on short time for being here. After figuring out I can stay home with baby, it's made it a little bit more bearable to come to work (but not a whole lot!)
