Where can I get recent tax return transcript Quickly?

I am almost done with the application of AOS but I obviously missed one document ----- IRS recent year tax return transcript! I thought we just need to send them recent year W2s.....argh! Where can I get tax return transcript quickly?

I just checked IRS website and it says it takes 2 weeks for delivery. I got to file AOS by the end of this month though.....

Can I mail out my AOS application without tax return transcript and send it to them when I receive the tax return transcript?

This is so frustrating!!! Please help!!

You cam call the IRS and they can fax them to you. I was surpirsed that they faxed mine, they usually snail mail them.

you just have to be at your fax machine to verify that you recieved them. It took me about 20 mins. on the phone and they were in my hand...the operator will hang on until thye verbally hear you say you have them.

I requested transcripts a year ago & I had them mailed to me within a week!

I just requested 2005(because I forgot to make a copy & the embassy kept it). I hope it will be here in a few days

I had them faxed to me exactly 1 week ago. I needed them to send in with the AOS on Monday.

Do you know anyone that still has the 2005 tax filing software they used for their own taxes? If so, you can load it up and prepare a copy of last years tax return. Just write copy over the top and send it along with your copies of W-2's.

What years of tax return should I request? I dont know what "recent years" apply? thanks

I sent in 2003, 2004, and 2005. I'm not sure if they were all needed...but I figured I was better safe than sorry.
