Hello,

Hello,

I am a Military Army Reservist and was deployed June 2013. I paid an Attorney to do my fiancée and our kids’ paper work, (I-129) to the USA. I was injured overseas and here in the country part of the Wounded Warrior Project for treatment. Additional, we also have a 10 month old son with medical issues. Now the new thing is that in her country, (Philippines) there are reports of ISIS flying their flag in a province next to hers. Also, on the news, I noticed 2 German tourists were kid napped and being threatened to be beheaded. Every since I been on this deployment there is one thing or another. I have to send most of my pay check back to her for our sons medical issues, because TRICARE will not help us. So what I am asking, anyone have an example of an Expedite Letter(s) for my issues here?

Thanks Lukus

Have you applied for the CRBA for your son with the USEM? Once that has been done and approved, get him a US passport and bring him to the US for treatment. I am sure there might be a few more things to do also...

Best of luck!

I have not applied for the CRBA because i have been gone on this deployment, since June 2013, and I missed his birth but the Army did allow me to visit him only for few days, in the Philippines. Did I had to fly back into Theater. then I was injured. Then was flown back to the states for treatment. Where I am still being treated. The way it looks I will not be able to see his first Birthday ;-(....

Since I am loosen so much money, I am seeking Pro Bono and trying to create this Letter to submit for these issues.

Probably something that goes like:

-----

Date

US Department of State

Washington, DC

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to request your assistance in expediting the K1 & K3 petitions we filed last (date) under the receipt numbers (WACXXXXXXXXX, WACXXXXXXXXX and WACXXXXXXXXX). The beneficiaries are (list their names)

I am requesting this expedite due to several reasons:

(list them)

For proof, I have attached my deployment orders, medical records, (a letter from your doctor & CO maybe?) and articles & photos regarding the ISIS threat near her hometown.

If you have questions please contact me at (enter your number). Thank you for your assistance.

Sincerely,

Just put the name of the beneficiaries for the meantime. Send this along with the packet but keep the letter in case they ask for another copy which you might need to fax to them.

And I'd like to correct the K1 & K3 part... its K1 & K2. I was cooking when I drafted this so was distracted. Sorry :P

Wow Hank_,

That is a great idea. I am a type of person that will like to get everything together, then submit it all. I feel you can not have to much information to submit but you can have not enough.

Now I have another question, how you think the letter should be formatted? Because the issues I been having since this deployment, it appears that I am the first soldier that has ever had these issues. My remarks to the command here, "Wow I am the first soldier that has ever had these issues in the past 239 years, LOL" I do know its that the military as a whole, it just we have allot of new soldiers and commanders that never came across these type of issues. I guess i am teaching them and giving them a run for their money.

What I will like to do is type something up and present it to my commander. She is really nice person about 28 years of age and most of all she does listen to her soldiers. What I like to do is, get all the information together and hope they will just put the information on a letter lead and they will sign it. I believe when submitting item or problems. I think you should submit the solution. People here call me a Maverick, LOL.

Thanks I can write forever.

I know there are many that have done expedites in the military, and you for sure have good cause for an expedite, I would suggest contacting the JAG office at your base they should be able to whip a letter up easily for your commander to sign.

You know if the children are yours and you can pass citizenship on to them, they will not be given K3 visas because a person with claim to USC will NOT be issued a visa. File CRBA if that applies

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

I received my expedite the other day from NVC.

USCIS just needs you to call them and notify them once you have your NOA1.

You will need to contact NVCexpedite@state.gov with the following format.

1. Subject Line: Your case number / Expedite

2.

Beneficiary Case Number

Beneficiary Name in full

Beneficiary Date of birth

Your Name

Your date of birth

Clearly put in your reason for expedite. Include a list of the items you are sending in the email.

V/r;

Your name

Any attachments

One other thing, send in copies to USCIS, and originals to the NVC / US Embassy.

All your paperwork should be waivered for fees as you are in the united states military. You can also submit copies (not even certified) to the NVC. (Make sure you note on every one that you are in the military).

Tri-care is in the Philippines as well, but you need to go into certain regions (eg Luzon or Manila area.)

Make sure your wife and child are listed on your orders. This will ensure they have no problems with the expedite.

Make sure your wife and child have ID cards if possible. They can then be moved at expense of the U. S. Government upon your getting them a visa / green card (under your orders).

Please see your immigration officer for the local base that you work on. They always have one, and always have ways to get you through.
