Three identical emails about anything seem to be the standard. But I have just received TWELVE emails stating that they mailed my welcome notice!

Sooo... anybody got more? ;)

We received seven duplicates for the GC and three for the EAD.

Because the system is worthless, that's why ;)

A little story: About a week before my AOS interview I received three emails stating that my interview had been cancelled. Oh well, I thought, another cancellation, tough luck. But I haven't received anything by snail mail, so we decided to go anyway. It took me a few days to realize that it was the FIRST interview being cancelled, not the second one! The emails arrived a month late, that's all. Had I accepted that my interview got cancelled, we would be in deep sh*t now.
