My fiance called USCIS this morning to get some feed back to where the case was at since its has been 6 months, we tried to have it expedited a month ago for medical reasons that was denied, we tried to have it transferred to CSC and was told in a letter that it was still in the processing times of TSC. But we all know that they change at a whim, from Dec, to Feb, back to 5 months, then 6 months and now again Feb. The letter we received 2 weeks ago said that an officer is currently looking at the our case, but today was told by a TIER 2 that the case hasnt been looked at what is really going on.post-186919-0-07484200-1411659050.jpg

It looks like you got your NOA1 in May so it hasn't really been 6 months yet. I would say be a little more patient and you should be getting something soon. Looks like TSC is in April/May. It looks like you are one of the few who did not get transferred to CSC like the majority of April/May TSC filers so there can't be too many people ahead of you. Just give it a few more weeks.

Did you get your local congressperson involved? This can help to get information out of them. It didn't do much good in my case. I was told conflicting stories as well by the officers. Don't get too worked up about it. Your time is coming shortly.

Your local congressperson works for you. They're typically easy to reach and work with. Mine was very responsive and called USCIS for me every week. It made us feel as though we at least had someone on our side.

I thought about it but i see now i may have to.

You're just being too impatient. You're only out 5 months, which is the average.....that being said some come quicker and some come later....you're in the latter group.

Get impatient when it's been 10 months.

My point was only that you said it has been six months but it hasn't. You calculate from you NOA1 notice date. It's not even been five months yet. And it looks like you should be getting an approval any day now. I now it's hard by try to have a little more patience and don't look at other cases. Every case is different and you don't know what is happening with other people's cases.

How many of the approved june filers from TSC were from the phillipines? Nearly all right? They're being expedited (due to last year's typhoon).

As others have noted, TSC's processing time is currently 6+ months. Sucks, but your case is normal so far.

I wouldn't trust anything USCIS says to you. They are known to be very unreliable. Sorry to hear you've been waiting a bit longer than others. I understand how infuriating it can be when you see others approvals come so fast. Just extend your patience a little longer. Majority of your wait time is over, your time will come :)

I would say the majority are from Philippines and a few are from other places. Like I saw one from Germany, and the one from UK that you mentioned. But again, you don't know the circumstances of these cases and why they were expedited. I still think it's too early to worry. It will come soon :)

Yeah no problem at all! I think this is the hardest part, waiting and not knowing when your approval will come. But after this I heard that things move much faster and you two can be together in a few months. :)
