quick question about the process

Hello all,

I just had a quick question. My case ( F4 visa siblings of a US citizen)is at the NVC. I submitted my civil documents in July and the NVC received them on the 25th July. Of course, the 60 day wait is in effect. I heard from them last week stating that the AOS needed to be sent. I got an email with a checklist. It was mailed this Monday and should get there by next weekend. Then it will be another 60 day wait.

Does it mean that everything is ok with my civil documents and the ds 260? Or will all files be reviewed together? I mean i would not want to find out that a file is missing from the civil documents in 2 months.

Is there usually an e mail letting you know that everything was received and is in order?

After the AOS is received and is reviewed what is the next step?

Until they review your file sometime in that 60 days is when you would be notified with a checklist and yes it could be 2 months later you find out something is missing.

All they have done is receive your documents now it waits in the queue right now last week of July through August 1 is being reviewed.
