How can one claim God cares to judge a fornicator over judging a lying, conniving bully? I guess you would if you are the lying, conniving bully.

MBP - Got a date set yet?

Well- our plans are a bit usual for most people here. Texas requires a 3 day waiting period so we will be married within the first 5 working days of his arrival in the courthouse. Then AOS paperwork will get started. No one is invited. We re not announcing ourselves as married. It's just the legal thing USCIS forces us to do.

Then after Idir as been here a little while, settled in, gotten to know my friends, made some friends of his own, we wil have a wedding party. Maybe April or May- I have a couple of friends getting married and of course can;t step on those toes- esp since one has become a full blown bridezilla and our guest list is similar.

At this wedding party we will not exchange any vows, but will sign a wedding contract, have food, a traditional american style. cake, music, dancing. a mix of both cultures.

I do want to register our marriage in Morocco rather than do allthe running around it takes to get married there, so we may end up at the Mosqe for the marriage too LOL I have to look into that.

When we return to Morocco, we will throw a small party for family and close friends- but not a traditional Moroccan blow out wedding.

maybe that was more than you asked for JP?

I'm so excited for you! When is he coming?

I'm too tired for coffee. I am going to need a new time zone to keep up with the nightly chats :crying: Going to pack my girl's lunch, wait for my friend to come pick her up who is driving today, and go back to bed sleep002.gif

I simply can't imagine why you are so tired this morning? :innocent:

Yeah I noticed you have been slacking off lately :P

We crashed after Idol last night too. She-Who-Rarely-Watches-TV has now become addicted to Idol thanks to her husband who appeared on Cairo's version of this a few years ago. I think I have more fun watching his face then the show, though. It really cracks him up.

This whole name change thing is totally frustrating me. I want to get the AOS papers sent already! Now with Moh's job and him not on my bank account yet, still waiting for his social security card, I'm not sure how he'll cash his first pay check. I'm going to cross my fingers that the card will beat the first check and it will be a non-issue.

Oh man Jean, I think that was possibly the best Idol tryout ever! The girl at the end, OMG, what planet what she from? So how is Moh adjusting? Likes, dislikes?

ugh my DV-R didn't record idol last night!:(

good morning everyone. hope you stay warm.

I Tivo'd it, if you lived closer to me I'd invite you over for shai, argileh, and idol rejects :P

Peezey - I drove by that nail salon yesterday, it does look really nice!

I'd say go ahead with a pedi, but not a fill, noooooo wayyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!! They did such a bad job, I had popped them all off myself and got a whole new set a few days later. I have never had such a bad experience in all my nail salon years.

No, but I have a gift certificate to Burke Williams that I haven't used yet. I need to make an appointment. Let me know how the spa is. I know there is a place there that did martini thursdays & a mani for $25, but I never made it there.

I've been to Lisa's, but in Campbell. It's soooo grownup and fun. My mom and I stopped in just to check out the shop last week waiting for our movie to start, and there was a baby shower & a girl's b-day getting ready for the 3pm sitting. MMMM, I might just have to take my mom now that I think about it.

Ever since you talked about your wedding party, I have been having nightmares of my husband leaving Texas in cowboy boots and tossing his babouches

I have been to Burke Williams, they are so snooty. My favorite spa is in the Hayes Mansion. InSpa has great prices, each of us is getting a 1 hour massage and a 1 hour pedicure for only $120 including tip! I'll let you know how it was.

Lisa's is one of my absoulute favorites!!!!

Okay, I have my homepage set to Google. All of a sudden when it comes up the font is huge!! I don't know what's going on as I haven't changed anything. Anyone know how I can keep the page from being read at 100 yards? I've looked around but can't find any setting to change.

Go to the toolbar and click on "view" and then click on "font size." try changing it to a smaller size and see if that works.
