Normally if someone is crazy like that, you can point that person out of a crowd and just say "hey, that guys a real whackjob"

But with my neighbor, there are no warning signs. Hes educated, talks clearly, looks you straight in the eye, can hold a conversation, etc. Thats what freaks me out about him. How can someone who is completely nuts, cover it up well enough to fool me for a normal person?

I know what you mean! It can be shocking how well they hide it.

This story proves the reason I don't talk to my neighbors if I am alone. It's sad that I can't even make conversation with my neighbors, in the houses near us (not apts) because I am scared to, frankly. There are too many crazy people out there and I'm home alone a lot during the day, so I don't want to make any neighbor friends.
