Hello,

ok so right now I am gathering all the documents that apply to me on the K1 visa Checklist, which I will send to the embassy, including sheet 4, which is a paper that says Request for Visa Interview.

I paid for the Visa on ustraveldoc.com and therefore have already created a profile there. Now step 11 confuses me because I dont understand when I am suppose to send them a copy of my registration confirmation page. Am I suppose to send it now with all the documents on the checklist or after they have given me an interview appointment. Here is what step 11 says:

11. Document Delivery Address (for the return envelope): Once you have been scheduled for an
interview appointment, you must provide an address where you want your visa package to be delivered
after issuance. Our office uses the online services of our Visa Service Provider. Please visit
www.ustraveldocs.com/de to register. In the profile (see Step 10), enter the mailing address. You should
specify your document delivery address prior to your interview.
You will need your Immigrant Case Number to enter your document delivery address. Please include a
copy of your registration confirmation page with the other documents that you send to the Consulate
before your interview. If your visa application is approved at the conclusion of your interview, Deutsche
Post will deliver your passport containing the visa and other documents in a packet to you at the address
you provided. You do not have to pay for this free delivery service.
Furthermore when I proceed on the ustraveldoc.com website I get only till about step 8 after that it tells me something like: Your request for an interview has been submitted and will be under review ... I clicked on that accidently at the beginning of this week but didnt mean to schedule an appointment as I understood that I will have to request for an interview through sheet 4 of the Checklist and not through ustraveldoc.com. I havent heard anything since then on my emails or on ustraveldoc.com about the request for an interview.
Help regarding this issue is highly appreciated. Pls let me know if something has been unclear for you.
Kind regards Annchez

The instructions state you send a copy of the registration confirmation along with all the rest of the documents listed in the checklist/instructions. You mail them all with page 4 of the checklist filled out. They will schedule your interview after that.

SECOND: Obtain the following documents on this checklist. Please collect all documents and send them
to our office by mail, together with a completed page 4 of this information sheet. Please do not separate
original and copy and sort your paperwork in the order listed below:
