cr1 -221g form co sponsor pls help DCF

Hi visa journey friend...

Im done interview but we are in AP / 221g we need co sponsor because my petitioner did not meet the poverty guideline... and i got few clarification to know for sure before submitting document to embassy

Form 1-864a is co sponsor for household member

So can my husband do the form1-864a

Submitting his form 1-864 with his mom 1-864a to combine there income to meet the poverty guideline...

But the question is can he do that? Even he is residing here in philippines now? But his dominicile is in same address of his mom.. so will that consider a household?? As soonas we get to states we will live with his mom... so pls anybody encounter this? Pls enlightened me i am sk stress:(

His mother is not truly a household member, because they have no joint finances from the way it sounds (ie your husband did not claim her on taxes last year or similar). So while she can sponsor, she'd need to be able to do so on her own., ie make enough for her household plus you, and file her own I-864 alongside your husbands.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Thank u .... im still confused.. he been living with his mom... just now that he is here in philippines.. his dominicile address is his mom address they house deed is in thier both name... as soon as get to stAtes we living with his mom.. its still not ... a household???

A household for the I-864 is not a physical thing, it is not living at the same address; it is instead financial co=mingling. Usually it is a husband and wife who file taxes jointly; rarely an adult who claims another adult as a dependant on taxes.
