How do I find out if my file was shipped to NVC?

Oh no! That sucks. Did they say what is holding it up? I have seen files being shipped off to the respective embassies in 2-4 days on average. I can't imagine what administrative processing they might be doing on yours.

This is a prime example of what I was saying on another thread, basically since NVC is slammed with phone calls and they are taking a little longer than normal, they are not wanting to look it up now unless it has been 4-5 weeks to try and discourage people from calling. So you have to be creative. Did I say that??

Calling them is the only way you know when they've shipped, and getting the case number from them and tracking it on CEAC website is how you follow it thereafter. I used google to call them from my computer, so I could work alongside. Redialing is also faster that way. It's a pain, I know, but calling them is unavoidable. Good luck!

I got my letter from the nvc a week after they got it. The day I received my letter, London had it.
