This is about the personal and collective economic and other benefit of reducing carbon emissions . The prevailing reasons for not making progess on the subject appear to be:

A. It's not occurring because we can't afford it, quit bothering me with facts

B. It is occurring but it's not a priority, quit bothering me by telling me to change

C Its happening and I'm a victim, let me lash out at those who disagree with me, that won't change much but I will feel better about myself

What I am setting out is this :I can't put Jesus in your heart, if you feel you can't or won't deal climate change , that's personal. But we can find other reasons to tackle this problem. Why would one not move from Incandescent bulb with an LED bulb for a 900%return on investment?

British Columbia moved to a revenue neutral carbon fuel tax. BC now has the lowest income tax in Canada and lowest corporate tax rate in North America and among the lowest for any region in a G7 nation. Since when did a low tax rate equal central planning?

You seem to have a problem mustering a words in response to my question as to why lower tax rates equates to collectivism or planned economies. Your non verbal rebutal seems to be that all folks who care to tackle enviormental issues are ? socialists ? communists ? This is akin to saying my dog has 4 legs. How are they making their neighbors pay? It's Alberta's decision to increase oil sand development. British Columbia can't regulate development in Alberta and they cant regulate BC residents from seeking employment there.

You missed the point completely.

BC's government moved to an increase consumption tax on fossil fuels and a corresponding decrease in income tax. By law, the "carbon tax" revenue can only be used to directly decrease income tax revenue. Indirectly it has reduced consumption of fossil fuels without increasing the overall tax burden.
