Filed August 2nd.. Biometrics completed Aug 26th. Nothing since. Still in Acceptance.

looking at dallas cases, I think you still have 2 more months to wait for interview letter, and interview in april, (8 months from filing), I still have 5 months of waiting left :(

Update to dallas filers, dallas office is scheduling interviews for June 20th 2014 applicant for Feb 19th 2015 .so still got some time to go, but not as bad as the uscis website states.

Update to dallas filers, dallas office is scheduling interviews for June 20th 2014 applicant for Feb 19th 2015 .so still got some time to go, but not as bad as the uscis website states.

Too slow, hopefully it will get better, I read that someone said they were hiring more officers, but it don't look like it.

Tomorrow is the day, i already have all set for tomorrow, my wife did a really nice scrapbook with a loooot of pictures, we got all the letters in my name and hers, like credit card bills, promotions, and whatever. the rent contract, the car lease and the car insurance, all with both names. Is that good ??

Ya that should be good, when I went for my I-130 interview 2 years back, they wanted the lease and pictures only and we were interviewed by the field director,

Hi everyone,

I am starting this topic to talk to fellow Dallas AOS filers.

The current processing date for Dallas on the USCIS website is November 21st, 2013 and was last updated on July 31st, 2014! That is getting close to being a year ago!

I am a very recent filer (check my timeline below) so if any Dallas filers from 6-8 months ago or even 10 months ago have any insight or can share their timelines so we can all compare and see what's going on with Dallas, would be wonderful!

Do any of you know how long after "testing and interview" is the actual interview being scheduled at Dallas?

Hoping to see all you Dallas filers on here!

Yet her Green Card was approved in two and half months !!

July 22, 2017  ROC packet sent to Vermont.

July 24, 2017  ROC packet signed for in Vermont.

August 8, 2017  NOA received at house.  15 days since ROC signed for in VSC.

August 12, 2017 ASC appointment received. 19 days since ROC in VSC.

August 25, 2017 BIO completed. 32 days since ROC received in VSC.

August 11, 2018  18 month 'Courtesy Copy' extension letter received.  Critical number  297

October 20, 2018 18 month 'Official' extension letter received.  Critical number 297

December 4, 2018  USCIS Account shows: We approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, 

December 4, 2018, ordered your new card for Receipt # EAC17297003XX, and will mail to the address you gave.

491 days from NOA issued by VSC until Petition approved.

December 7, 2018 USCIS sent notice:  Card mailed.

December 12, 2018 Ten year Green Card received from Lees Summit, MO

499 days from NOA issued by VSC until Green Card received.

CITIZENSHIP PROCESS

December 6, 2018 submitted N-400 application on-line.  Estimated Completion Time: 8 months or August 2019.

December 8, 2018 received notice on USCIS that Biometrics scheduled . . . but the actual date was not yet shown.

December 11, 2018 saw in 'Documents' section of USCIS that Bio scheduled for 24 December 2018.

December 21, 2018 saw on USCIS website that they will be closed 24 December 2018 as extra holiday.

January 9, 2019 went for re-scheduled BIO appointment.  33 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

February 19, 2019 received letter in US mail that Citizenship interview scheduled for 26 March 2019. 74 days after submission on-line.

March 26, 2019 Citizenship interview scheduled for.  109 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

March 26, 2019 Passed Citizenship interview.

April 12, 2019  Received notice that Oath Ceremony had been scheduled for 24 April 2019.  17 days after interview.

April 24, 2019  Oath Ceremony completed.  29 days after interview.     139 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

April 25, 2019  USA Passport Application submitted.

May 3, 2019     USA Passport received.    149 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

May 9, 2019     Certificate of Naturalization and Citizenship returned in mail.

It was a military expedite. Otherwise it would have been taken 7-9 months just like everyone else.

Yes, you are right, my GC was approved in 2.5 months and it was an exception due to military reasons. My spouse is currently deployed. And even that doesn't automatically guarantee an expedite. USCIS decides it on a case by case basis. I just happened to be fortunate.

I know how frustrating it can be to wait. Before my case was expedited, I did a lot of research and at that time, my research showed me that it was a 8 month wait for Dallas filers. Hopefully it has improved. Wish you the best in your case.

08/20/2014 (Day 19) Early biometrics walk in successful

08/26/2014 (Day 25) Scheduled biometric appointment

08/29/2014 (Day 28) Case status for I485 changes to "testing and interview"

10/02/2014 (Day 62) EAD changed to card production, AP changed to post decision activity, Interview got expedited to October 14th, 2014 due to military reasons

10/09/2014 (Day 69) EAD card was mailed and received tracking number

10/11/2014 (Day 71) EAD card received via USPS

10/14/2014 (Day 72) Interview at Dallas field office- Approved! Case status updated to Card production on same day.

11/05/14 - Biometrics done! (Day 30)
02/05/15 - EAD/AP Approved/ Card in Production

02/13/15 - EAD/AP Combo Received

08/07/15 - Interview notice was mailed to me (interview set for 9/10)

9/17/15 : Green Card received!

6/22/17: Received NOA 1 in Mail (dated 6/16/17).

7/20/17: biometrics done.

9/10/18: Approval letter received. 

9/13/18: Picked up card from Post office.

Congrats

Next up for Dallas is JeanF from August 2nd then hcm and and me from October lol, but I think cuz of the weather last month, they rescheduling lot of appointments so we gonna be 2 weeks more late, man the waiting is killing us
