10 months after filing u will get interview letter, interview is on the 11th months from application filed

Hi- I filed AOS from Dallas too, but I didn't file till this year. I can't tell from your signature, have you received your EAD combo card? If so how long did it take to get your approval? Also, since Dallas field office has the longest wait for AOS processing time does it effect the processing times for EAD as well?

I didn't file for Ead or advance card, even though dallas is taking 11 months from the filing date for the interview, your ead card and ap card should come with 90 days of filing as this is done at the NBC service center and not your local office. You will only have your interview at your local office.

Also since your are adjusting from k1 visa you should get a interview waiver letter with a month or 2, if you don't then you might have a interview. 99% of people from k1 don't have a interview.

well my EAD ends next April does it mean the new driver license ends in April 2016 too? If it does, I better use my I-20 (lasts until next August).

Yes, it will only last until the EAD expires.

**on a bright note**

New license arrived today, it expires 11/2021! Go to the DPS in Lewisville.. unless mine was a mistake you should get a 6yr license with your conditional GC.

Dallas field office is messing me up.. I've been waiting since November last year.. I am guessing that Dallas field office has the highest waiting time. I've seen a lot of timelines from other people in other states.. It doesn't take as much as this..

Is there anyone who filed last November?

My ead is about to expire 90 days from today so I'm going to be sending in an application for renewal but I wanted if I could apply for AP as well. I haven't previously applied for it when I filed my I 485 and EAD. And as of today I still haven't gotten any news from usics about an interview I guess my file is just sitting there in a drawer and they can't find the keys ??

Hello everyone,

Had our interview this morning at 7 am. It was a breeze. About 15 mins long! The guy that interview us was really nice. He went through the packet verifying our address and asked about our living situation. Then he just asked the yes no questions and asked my wife when she came to the US. Then he asked if we had anything for him so I just gave him more papers showing our bona-fide marriage. At the end he said they will inform us of their decision. Around 10:10 am I got the email notifying us that my wife's card is in Production!!

I'd appreciate any guidance on whether I should move my file to Dallas.

I filed for my AOS (married a US citizen in 2012, but we lived outside the US. I've only been here since Feb 2015, I'm changing from a VWP). I filed in AL in May 2015 but live in Dallas now. The address I used is my in-laws so I can still receive my mail.

Having read this thread, I wonder if I should change my address to Dallas and potentially adding more delay to my case. I've had a couple of RFE's so I haven't even received my EAD yet. (I'm getting jealous and a bit depressed about my progress...)

Thanks.

Hello Everyone..

I have been following this thread and I'm happy for all those who have finished the stage one of the USCIS process which is getting the green card.

In my own case, I am worried because I have waited for 10 months now and haven't heard any word from USCIS.

I filed since November last year and reading your timelines; I think my notice for an interview is due.

My question is, has anyone who filed around November recieved anything? I am just worried.
