Scotland votes against Independence

Sadly all too obvious and of course we do not know what would have happened had the invasion not occurred. What needs to be done now is target the real problems, not just castigate people for belonging to the muslim religion. Hopefully that will occur and from multilateral sources.

Meanwhile, I wonder if Scotland now regrets its decision?

You know, I don't know much about the inner workings of the UK but I didn't really hear any good reasons on why Scotland should have opted for independence. There's national identity and all that noise, but was there any socio-economic benefits of leaving? The Brits and everyone else were acting like it would be the end of the world if they left but at this point every news story is the end of times.

I honestly don't think it would have changed the way the two countries interacted that significantly even if they had voted yes but we will never know and it's probably just as well but I am not a Scot so...
