I-131 Reentry permit questions

Hi,

My wife filed for a reentry permit. Documents were received on Sept 5. She received I-797C (notice of action) with notice date Sept 09. We haven't received an appointment letter yet for fingerprints. Does it normally take this long? The strange thing is that when I enter the receipt number in the Check My Case Status under uscis.gov, I get that case can not be found, which is strange. I get the same message on their phone system, when I check for status update with the receipt number. I called USCIS and they told me to wait.

Any advices? She needs to leave US as soon as possible...

If it's an emergency (or at least, an emergency under USCIS' rules) you can ask for an expedite; otherwise you would just have to wait.

Biometrics notices are usually issued within 30 days of their receipt of your applications.

Hi,

My application was accepted begging of September. I was fingerprinted end of September. Since then, nothing. Processing times for NSC for re-entry permit is 3 months. I've called USCIS 2 times for the last month and they've said the same that they are processing application from the same type as mine with acceptance date 08/16/2014, which is couple of weeks before mine. The strange thing is that I've been hearing this since 12/20/2014 and looks like there is no progress at all. Also the USCIS website says that my fingerprint fee was accepted, but it does not say that I was fingerprinted.

Does anybody have issues like mine or any idea what is going on?
